Job Description

The senior project manager is responsible for the delivery, budget, and management of one or more projects at all times. His main tasks include human resources management, driving product development and maintaining communications with key stakeholders. The senior project manager is truly the heart and soul of the project and is ultimately responsible for its timely delivery. He works closely with his team, but also the Head of Production and the other various internal and external teams.



  • Supervise and support production teams;
  • Establish production objectives and priorities and maintain this guideline;
  • Ensure all stakeholders have the required information at their disposal at all times;
  • Maintain financial and production plans at all times;
  • Maintain positive client relationships at all times;
  • Work closely with our client to ensure the quality of the product at all times;
  • Handle and distribute development tasks amongst team members based on their skills and aptitudes.
  • Act as a resource person in team management (development, coaching, efficiency evaluation, disciplinary measures, promotions);

Desired Skills & Experience

Requirements:

  • Theoretical and practical understanding of the different types of games
  • Understanding of the various steps involved in creating a game
  • Passion for video games
  • Ability to really drive a team and product development
  • Ability to question roadblocks and think differently
  • Ability to assess development tasks;
  • Strong ability to analyze and synthesize information
  • Strong time management skills and ability to respect production schedules
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingualism
  • Must show leadership, initiative, autonomy and flexibility
  • Experience in using either Microsoft Project and/or Excel
  • Excellent client relationship skills
  • Sense of humour, passion and devotion

Training/experience:

§   University Degree in management, communication, graphic design, multimedia, video game programming, or any other related field;
§   Experience in managing the development of interactive products (5 years)
